For this quick little project you will need the following:
1) vinyl record
2) Oven
3) oven safe bowl (preferably one smaller than the diameter of the record)
4) cookie sheet
STEP 1:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and arrange the bowl and record on top of the cookie sheet like the photo.
STEP 2:When oven is at 200, place the the items inside and set a timer for 5 minutes.
STEP 3:
After 5 minutes, take the bowl and record out of the oven and place the record quickly inside the now upturned bowl. Press the bottom of the record into the bowl and shape the malleable vinyl to the interior walls of the metal bowl to give it shape.
STEP 4:Wait a minute or so for the vinyl to cool and then remove it from the metal bowl. You should now have a rigid and "hand crafted" bowl without ever touching a potters wheel.
